Opportunity to be introduced to Afro-Caribbean percussions

Special offer from the United Nations Music Club to  all UN staff members  

During the Covid period, the courses had to be cancelled. It is planned to relaunch in 2023.

 Programme:   

9-week initiation courses start every quarter.

January-March; Beginning April to end of June;  end of August until end of October and November- December.  Applicants can select the Monday or Friday during the lunch break and select classes according to their availability or preference.

You will learn the basics and more with an excellent professional and teacher who is fluently trilingual, speaking English, French and Spanish. It is not necessary to have any previous knowledge of music or percussions. Your contribution per lesson will be only 15.- francs. On an annual basis, the entire course will cost 135 francs. All instruments will be provided.
Classes will last 40 minutes and will be held during lunch breaks between 12.00  and 12.40 p.m and 13.20 and 14.00 respectively. The  practice room is located in the E-building, ground floor of the Palais des Nations at UNOG.
