This is the Club&#8217;s <a title=\"General Assembly\" href=\"https:\/\/unmusicclub.org\/un\/about-the-club\/general-assembly\/\">General Assembly<\/a> which all members are invited to attend and to participate in. The General Assembly elects the President and the officers:<\/p>\n<p>Musical activities coordinators, a treasurer, a secretary and accounts auditors.<\/p>\n<p>Committee activities:<\/p>\n<p>The <a title=\"About the Club\" href=\"https:\/\/unmusicclub.org\/un\/about-the-club\/president-and-officers\/\">Club officers<\/a> constitute the Committe.<\/p>\n<p>It carries out the decisions of the General Assembly, monitors all Club activities, \u00a0inter alia,<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; the management of resources<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; management of rehearsal premises<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; examines applications for membership with a view to organise groups.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; It manages the income and expenditures, decides on equipment and supplies purchasing and expenditures relating to musical coaching.<\/p>\n<p>The Committee meets several time and sometimes establishes\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/unmusicclub.org\/un\/minutes-committee\">minutes<\/a> recording decisions or recommendations. Officers respective responsibilities are listed in the <a href=\"http:\/\/unmusicclub.org\/un\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/GA2015-10-Nomenclature-Proposed-Rev1.pdf\" rel=\"\">Nomenclature Rev1<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/management\/sites\/www.un.org.management\/files\/un-system-model-code-conduct.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">general<\/a>\u00a0\u201cCode of Conduct to Prevent Harassment, Including Sexual Harassment, at UN Systems Events\u201d, the Committee approved the UN Music Club\u2019s Code of Conduct, which is available\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unmusicclub.org\/un\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/mc-code-of-conduct.pdf\" title=\"\">here<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An annual general meeting is held each spring to review the Club\u2019s activities and discuss plans for the future.
